Code of Conduct
Ortessa is committed to creating sustainable connections and finding new ways and opportunities, so that together we can be even more conscious of the earth on which we may live. In doing so, we work using the SDGs to strike the right balance between economic sustainability, environmental sustainability and social sustainability. In our Code of Conduct, every stakeholder of veyzle declares their commitment to the aforementioned agreements.
Code of Conduct
Ortessa is a group of enterprising waste companies, each with its own specialty, but with one clear intention: Open About Waste. In doing so, Ortessa is committed to creating sustainable connections and finding new ways and opportunities, so that together we can be even more conscious of the earth we are privileged to live on. In doing so, economic sustainability, ecological sustainability and social sustainability go align well.
The Ortessa Code of Conduct is based on the European Social Charter, the ILO Declaration June 1998, ILO Convention 169 and the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development 19921. Ortessa recognizes the fundamental principles of human rights as described in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (United Nations 1948) and expects the same from Ortessa stakeholders. Equal treatment of employees, with no discrimination on the basis of race, religion, age, nationality, social or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender, identity or expression, marital status, pregnancy, political opinion or disability, or on any other ground. #EqualTreatment

All relevant international laws and regulations must be respected without concession. #NoChildLabor
-
Mutual voluntary agreements without any form of coercion. And in doing so, employees must not be forced or required in any situation to surrender government issued identification papers, passports or work permits as a condition of employment. #NoForcedLabor
